Family Services Worker - Seasonal Position (6 to 9 months)

ECMHSP is now accepting applications for Family Services Worker in a Migrant Head Start Program. Responsible for assisting the on-going recruitment and enrollment of center children and in the implementation of Social Services and Parent Involvement areas of the program.  Preferred: Family Development Credential or equivalent and documented years relevant experience working with children and families and active enrollment in an Associate’s Degree program in a Human Services field.  Experience in providing basic family case management. Accepted: High School/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and active enrollment in six college level credit hours related to Human Services/Social Work or related field and documented years of relevant experience working with children and families.  Experience in providing basic coordination of family services. Experience in providing basic family case management.  Starting salary $11.12 – 11.68 per hour. Personal Leave and employer-matched retirement plan.

Se prefiere: La Credencial de Desarrollo de Familia o credencial equivalente y años de relevante experiencia documentada trabajando con niños y familias.  Estar matriculado en un título de asociado en Servicios Humanos.  Experiencia en el manejo de casos de familias. Se acepta: Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED, y seis horas de creditos de nivel universitario relacionados con servicios humanos/trabajo social o area relacionada. Experiencia proveyendo la coordinacion de servicios familiares basicos. El salario inicial es entre $11.12 – 11.68 por hora. East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is a federally funded program serving migrant farm worker children (6 wks. – 5 yrs) in 11 states.  Seeking a Budget Analyst to assume responsibility for coordinating the agency budget process and monitoring adherence to the budget through ongoing review.  Coordinate the technical aspects of the budget under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.  BS/MS degree in Accounting or related field, 5 years of accounting general ledger experience.  Working knowledge of budget preparation and financial analysis; familiarity with Federal non-profit regulations; ability to communicate effectively with a wide spectrum of professional individuals; strong attention to detail; proficiency in use of computer software; ability to function as a team member; the ability to work with a minimum of supervision and ability to work in culturally diverse environment, Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.  Competitive salary, excellent benefits, including immediate employer contributions to 403(B) with at least two years previous Head Start experience.  Position located in Raleigh, NC.  Send cover letter and resume by August 2, 2010 to:
