Guadalupe Magaña

Guadalupe Magaña currently works for the UMKC School of Education at the Regional Professional Development Center as an English Learners Consultant. Guadalupe served 6 years in public education where she taught ESL and Spanish Literature. She then moved to higher education, continuing to work with ESL students and taught English as a Foreign Language. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with an English as a Second Language Endorsement from Kansas State University in 2008 and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Mid-America Nazarene University in 2013. Guadalupe has fervor for students who are learning the English language. Her passion for education has fueled her mission internationally. Outside of work, Guadalupe enjoys spending time with her family, reading books to her children, cooking, and enjoying nature.
