Services

East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is committed to providing comprehensive early education services that set each child on a path to school success. Our approach to early childhood education is designed to create a joyful and enriching learning experience for every child. Here are some key elements of our educational services:

1. Nurturing Relationships: Our highly professional educational staff focuses on establishing nurturing, warm, and positive relationships with each child. We recognize the importance of a supportive and caring environment in which children can thrive.

2. Observation and Individualized Learning: We observe each child closely to understand their unique learning style and pace. This individualized approach allows us to tailor our educational strategies to meet the specific needs of each child.

3. Building a Sense of Community: In our classrooms, we foster a sense of community among the children. Creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment helps children feel secure and engaged in their educational journey.

4. Family Partnerships: We value the input and involvement of families in their children's education. We work in respectful partnerships with families to identify educational goals, provide support, and share valuable resources.

5. Assessment and School Readiness: Regular assessments of children's skills are conducted, focusing on five school readiness domains. These assessments help us track progress and make informed decisions to ensure children are prepared for success in school.

6. Curriculum Enhancement: Our comprehensive curriculum is enhanced by parent input and culturally and linguistically supplemental resources. We strive to provide developmentally appropriate strategies for supporting dual language learners.

7. Continuous Improvement: We are committed to continuous improvement. Our educational staff refines our curriculum and dual language learning practices to ensure that every child enters school ready to excel.
